After School Yoga Clubs

Elementary School Yoga Clubs

A children’s yoga program developmentally aligned for children ages 5-10 in elementary schools. These after school yoga clubs build strength, focus, and emotional regulation through movement and breath. The semesters can range from 10 - 16 weeks, depending on the school. These small groups are capped at 12 kids per class to ensure consistency and connection after the school day ends.

Preschool Yoga Clubs

Developmentally aligned for children ages 3-5 using real yoga and mindfulness practices. Our children build their yoga skills early on in life using stories, songs and play to help reach developmental milestones. A typical schedule during the day includes 15 to 20 minutes of yoga for each classroom once or twice a week.  Our after-school yoga clubs for this age group are 45 minutes.

Girl Scout Yoga Badges

Badge-aligned yoga session elements for Girl Scouts are designed to help girls earn specific badges while exploring yoga and wellness. These elements typically include:

  1. Relaxation and Mindfulness Techniques: Breathing exercises and guided meditation to promote calm and focus.

  2. Physical Poses and Movements: Simple, fun yoga poses that improve flexibility, strength, and balance.

  3. Healthy Lifestyle Education: Tips on nutrition, hydration, and self-care.

  4. Team-Building Activities: Partner poses and group activities that foster cooperation and communication.

  5. Self-Discovery and Reflection: Encouraging girls to connect with themselves and develop body awareness.

  6. Environmental and Nature Connection: Incorporating outdoor or nature-themed practices to honor earth consciousness.

These components provide a fun, educational, and holistic approach, aligning with badge requirements while promoting health, teamwork, and self-awareness.

What happens at Bella Kids Yoga Club:

Each yoga club meets weekly and follows a developmentally aligned sequence of breathwork, movement, and guided rest. Kids learn calming techniques, build flexibility and balance, and explore social-emotional themes through games and group poses. Clubs are tailored to the school, space, and students whether in a classroom, gym, or media center.

Incorporating Bella Yogi Kids into schools can helps develop strength, flexibility, focus, and emotional resilience in a joyful and nurturing environment. Providing children with the tools for success when faced with mental health challenges, behavior issues, sedentary lifestyles, and bullying and social isolation.
